I’m very excited to announce that on Thursday, February 29th, Galway Hooker Brewery launched their first two new seasonal beers of 2024, inspired by my ‘Galway Girl’ and ‘Wild Sea Swimmers’, we welcomed a great turnout for the official get-together at their Oranmore-based brewery.
Businesses from across the city attended a lively Galway Chamber Business After Hours evening event hosted by Galway Hooker. Dozens of people turned up to celebrate the launch of the Oranmore-based brewery’s two new beers ‘Galway Girl’ and ‘Wild Sea Swimmers’.
‘Galway Girl’ is a hazy IPA with tropical, citrus, and pine notes, and ‘Wild Sea Swimmers’ is a full-bodied Baltic porter with waves of chocolate and caramel. Both unique brews will feature my fabulous artwork offering an eye-catching spin that is sure to grab the public’s eye.
I have been devoted to art and crafts since I was very young, and my creative work will adorn all of Galway Hooker’s 2024 seasonal brews – putting an artistic and colourful touch to an already recognizable beer. When asked to speak on the new collaboration, I added, “I’m delighted to collaborate with Galway Hooker on their seasonal brews for 2024. I’m proud to be associated with a brand that is innovative, daring, and different”.
“My work as an abstract artist incorporates Irish folklore, Aran textiles, Celtic heritage, and maritime imagery, inspired by the beauty that surrounds me here living by the wild Atlantic Ocean on the West Coast of Ireland,” she added.
