Bliss Cards

I was in the garden, the sun was beaming, which is unusual for the west of Ireland. I was thinking of how blessed that I am that I’m spiritually connected…feeling an inner bliss from my practice of gratitude, practicing thankfulness for everything in my life. Having lost people so close to me in my life, I am aware of our own mortality.

On this day as I was painting in the garden, I wanted to capture the sun shining by the sea. I added some netting into this piece, reminding me of the Aran Island fisherman, casting their nets.

I felt joy and peace this day. And I knew that all will be ok.

My oldest brother owns the original painting and I feel so blessed every time I walk into his home and see this piece hanging on the wall.
